With more than 21 years of experience in the health benefits field, Leanne Cindea is the founder and principal of Laurel Benefit Advisors. The firm's distinct culture reflects Leanne's extensive knowledge of and innovative approach to the complex and ever-changing health benefits field.
Since 1998, when she was a sales consultant for RSI, Leanne has built a thriving practice dedicated to the needs of small to mid-sized businesses. She guides and advises startups and established businesses alike, navigating the maze of options to secure and maintain competitive benefits packages that balance the needs of entrepreneurs and their employees.
Valued as a trusted advisor by her clients and highly regarded among her peers, Leanne is passionately committed to her chosen profession. She began her health and welfare insurance career at US Healthcare, one of the premier managed care carriers in the country. At Laurel Benefit Advisors Leanne continues to build her own health and welfare practice.
Leanne has shared her benefits and business expertise as a guest speaker at the Tri-State Human Resources Conference, the Pennsylvania Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Annual Conference, the Philadelphia Association of Female Accountants, and as a guest lecturer at Rutgers University.
Active in professional organizations, Leanne is a member of Tri-State Human Resources Management Association (HRMA), and a Preferred Partner since 2005. She is also a member of the National SHRM. She was nominated in 2010 by Tri-State HRMA as one of the Delaware Valley’s Human Resources Consultants of the Year.
Leanne has also been actively involved in her community serving on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Camden and Gloucester counties. She also served as Chair for the Board of Trustees.
A former college athlete playing field hockey for Rutgers University, Leanne enjoys Crossfit training, cycling and running. She has participated in several sprint triathlons and will ride and support Multiple Sclerosis in the MS 150 ride to Ocean City, NJ for her third consecutive year in 2012.
Leanne earned a bachelor's degree in Communications and English from Rutgers University.
Leanne resides with her husband in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
